Haley Osier

Haley Osier is an independent pop singer-songwriter from Nashville with a story to tell. Her music reveals the pain and pining of queer love, loss, and betrayal from a post-evangelical perspective. With influences like Sara Bareilles, Reneé Rapp, and Holly Humberstone, Haley explores the depth of her grief with warm, emotive vocals over a cinematic pop soundscape. She’s the moody lesbian the indie music scene has been missing.

Haley got her start in Texas, where she grew up playing shows for Six Flags and Radio Disney, as well as festivals local to DFW. Shortly after the release of her first two projects, she took an accidental seven-year hiatus from music to find herself as a queer person, lose the faith she’d been hiding behind, and discover new language for her experience. Out of that journey, a fresh sound and artistic identity was born.

This new album from Haley Osier, “A Letting Go,” chronicles the too-familiar journey of missing someone who hurt you and reckoning with the hurt, accepting the feelings you felt and maybe still feel for that person, knowing the conversation you’re having about it will always be one-sided. There will be no closure. They will never reply. This album is Haley having that one-sided conversation in front of us, letting us in as she’s letting go and hoping she’s not as alone as she feels doing it.

Producer, collaborator, and frequent co-writer Chase Coy describes Haley as “a talented artist who is chronicling her deconstruction journey through an incredible collection of songs. She not only talks about her experiences leaving religion, but also sapphic love, deep loss, and the weight and trauma of betrayal; not only does she navigate these topics deftly, but she also manages to make it all so damn catchy and digestible.”

You can follow Haley on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube for up-to-date information.
